JIMBO’S WOODEN NICKEL FUNDRAISER: JANUARY 1ST THROUGH MARCH 31ST, 2012.
The Sean O’Shea Foundation will be one of four recipients participating in the “It’s In the Bag” fundraiser between January 1st and March 31st 2012 at Jimbo’s.
Here is how it works…Bring in your own shopping bags, cloth, reused paper or plastic bags, and participate in Jimbo’s “It’s in the Bag” program. This program has been set up to help promote the recycling of shopping bags, reward those customers that reuse their bags, and pass the money we save on to your favorite charity. It’s a win for everyone!
Jimbo’s will count how many bags are needed. For each of your full sized bags that they use, they will offer you a US nickel or a Jimbo’s wooden nickel, you choose. Four bins are set up by their cash registers, and each bin is designated for one local charity. All wooden nickels will be added up at the end of March 31st and checks will be offered to the participating charities.
